- Bad odors from the vents
It’s fairly common to get some weird smells after firing up your A/C for the first time each year – but those should clear out quickly after the system gets up to speed. - Metallic noises

- Uneven cooling between rooms
A well-maintained A/C system should be able to give you roughly the same temperature in every room. - Not matching the set temp on your thermostat
