What happens when we come out
We install Daikin, American Standard, Lennox and Goodman systems, sized to your home with a real load calculation rather than a guess from the old unit’s label. Every installation includes the permit and the Title 24 paperwork your county requires, a HERS test where one is called for, and a start-up check with you there. Our crews are our own employees, not a subcontractor, and the install is backed by the manufacturer’s warranty and ours.
What comes with every installation
- A load calculation so the system is the right size
- The permit and Title 24 paperwork, pulled by us
- HERS testing where the county requires it
- Haul-away of the old equipment
- Financing on approved credit, and rebate paperwork handled for you
- A start-up walk-through so you know how everything works
Signs it is time to replace
- The system is 12 to 15 years old or more
- Repairs are getting bigger and closer together
- It uses R-22 refrigerant, which is no longer made
- Some rooms never get comfortable
- Your summer bills keep climbing
- You want a heat pump for the rebates and the lower bills
Questions we hear about new air conditioner
How much does a new air conditioner cost?
It depends on the size of the home, the equipment line and whether the furnace or air handler is replaced at the same time. Build your system on our site and you will see real prices for your home in a few minutes.
Do I need a permit?
Yes – in California a replacement needs a permit and Title 24 compliance. We pull it and handle the paperwork; it is part of the price.
Should I switch to a heat pump?
Often, yes. A heat pump cools exactly like an air conditioner and also heats, usually for less than a gas furnace in our climate, and there are utility and federal incentives for them. We will show you both.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through several lenders, on approved credit, including options with no payments for a period. Ask when you build your system or on the visit.
