What happens when we come out
We are a Daikin Comfort Pro and American Standard Customer Care dealer, and we install inverter heat pumps sized to your home with a load calculation. Every installation includes the permit, Title 24 and HERS testing, and we prepare the SMUD, PG&E and federal incentive paperwork for you. As a SMUD contractor-network member we know which systems qualify and for how much.
What comes with every installation
- Load calculation and right-sizing
- Permit, Title 24 and HERS testing
- Rebate and tax-credit paperwork prepared for you
- Old equipment hauled away
- Financing on approved credit, including 0% options when available
- Start-up and a walk-through
A heat pump is a good fit if
- Your furnace or air conditioner is due for replacement anyway
- You want one system instead of two
- You are moving away from gas, or adding solar
- Some rooms are never comfortable
- You want the utility and federal incentives while they last
Questions we hear about new heat pump
Does a heat pump work in the Sacramento valley?
Yes. Our winters are mild; a modern inverter heat pump heats comfortably well below freezing and cools as well as any air conditioner in July.
What incentives are available?
They change, which is why we handle the paperwork. SMUD and PG&E offer rebates on qualifying heat pumps, and the federal tax credit covers a share of the cost. Build your system online and the current incentives show on the price.
