What happens when we come out

The technician checks the reversing valve, the defrost control, refrigerant charge, the outdoor fan and compressor, the indoor coil and the thermostat communication, and explains what they found with photos. You get prices before any work. Communicating systems need the right parts and the right tools; we carry both.

Good to know

Questions we hear about heat pump repair

Is it normal for my heat pump to ice up?

A light frost in cold weather is normal and the unit defrosts itself every so often. Thick ice that never clears means the defrost control, a sensor or the refrigerant charge needs attention.

Why is my electric bill so high in winter?

Usually the backup electric heat is running more than it should – from a thermostat setting, a failed outdoor unit, or a system that is undersized. A repair visit finds which.
